Frequently Asked Questions

Is SOL Cleaner safe to use?

Yes! SOL Cleaner is 100% non-custodial. We never have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or funds. You sign every transaction in your own wallet (Phantom/Solflare), maintaining complete control over your assets.

How much SOL can I reclaim?

Each empty token account locks ~0.00203928 SOL as rent. The total amount depends on how many empty accounts you have. For example, 10 empty accounts = ~0.02 SOL you can reclaim.

What's the fee structure?

We charge a 10% service fee on the reclaimed rent. For example, if you reclaim 0.02 SOL, the fee is 0.002 SOL, and you receive 0.018 SOL. Network fees are additional and paid directly to Solana validators.

Will closing accounts affect my tokens?

No! We ONLY close empty token accounts (0 balance). Your tokens with balances are never touched. The app scans your wallet and only shows accounts that are completely empty.

How long does it take?

Scanning your wallet takes 2-5 seconds. Closing accounts is instant once you approve the transaction in your wallet. The entire process typically takes less than 1 minute.

Can I close multiple accounts at once?

Yes! You can select up to 12 accounts per transaction. If you have more, the app automatically splits them into multiple transactions (batching) for safety.

What happens if a transaction fails?

If a transaction fails, no accounts are closed and no fees are charged. Your SOL remains in your wallet. Common reasons for failure include network congestion or insufficient SOL for gas fees.

Do I need SOL to use this service?

Yes, you need a small amount of SOL (~0.00001 per transaction) to pay network fees (gas). The reclaimed rent will be returned to your wallet minus our 10% service fee.

Which wallets are supported?

We support Phantom and Solflare wallets. Both are secure, user-friendly Solana wallets available as browser extensions and mobile apps.

Is my transaction data private?

All Solana transactions are public and recorded on the blockchain. Anyone can view transaction history using your wallet address on explorers like Solscan. However, we don't collect or store any personal information.
